COVID-19 Closure Announcement

It is with a heavy heart that, due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and ongoing government advice, we are temporarily shutting our workshop doors to the public.

Due to the amount of space we have in the workshop & the fact that most days the workshop is completely full, we do not think it would be right for us to have that many customers in our seating area for a period of time.

If you currently have a booking with the workshop, a member of staff will be in touch as soon as possible to rearrange this for you.

Our lost key road service is currently still operating, although availability may change day by day. If you currently have a roadside engineer booking, an engineer will be in touch as soon as possible.

We have not taken this decision lightly and hope you understand our choice to do this. We hope our role plays a somewhat small part in the prevention of the transmission of this illness and to protect your family & ours.

Amazing service from these guys, I bought a 2019 KTM 790 R that came with no keys. I had a nightmare trying to find anyone in the West Mids who could do the job at all (most places said they didn’t have the equipment or software needed), the closest place I could find that could do it was in London. I asked at a local bike spares shop if they could recommend anyone, and they pointed me in the direction of Duplicut. On the phone, Barry assured me that he could do the job no problem, even though he hadn’t done my particular model before. I dropped the bike over to them a few days later. One of their guys even helped me get the bike out of the van because it was was too big and heavy to do on my own. Within a few hours they called to let me know that they had cut the keys (2 x KTM branded keys too, I was expecting generic blank keys), but the next step was coding them to the immobiliser - which I’d already read online is a pretty big job when you have no other keys for the bike to copy. They called me every day the bike was there to give me an update and an ETA, in total they had it for 4 days. On one of the updates Barry mentioned that he’d had to buy some additional equipment/software to program the keys so I was expecting the price to be creeping up accordingly. When he called me to say it was all done, I made sure I was sitting down and asked him the price. He told me that even though he’d had to buy additional bits, the price was still the same as he quoted on day one! I was happy as Larry when I picked the bike up, can’t thank them enough. It’s rare that I ever leave a review, but it’s rare to receive the level of customer service that Duplicut offer! Thanks again guys!

I visited Duplicut and met with a technician named Adam.They were honest enough to tell me that my broken car key was an easy fix and quoted me only £25.00 for a replacement (I was expecting a £220 bill).Key was sorted within 24 hours and they only charged me £20.00 in the end.I am very happy with the service, help and advice from Duplicut.God Bless you all.

Emailed them last night and didn't expect a reply until today but got the reply yesterday evening. Very impressed with customer service. Was unable to use central locking as needed new casing and switch on pcb. Very friendly at the shop and done in 5 minutes. Reasonable price. So all positives for me and I would use again.

Quick turnaround for a new remote car key, about 20 minutes, popped for shopping, came back...done! Cheap compared to the dealerships, why folks go to dealerships is beyond me! Professional, super friendly and really helpful thanks duplicut! 👏
