We're experiencing higher customer demand at present. To avoid disappointment, please call to check stock / appointment availability before visiting.

Duplicut are proud to offer a warranty on all new remote keys that we supply (excluding case repairs). Whilst all of our products are rigorously tested before going on sale to customers, our warranties exist to give you peace of mind when purchasing from us.

We’ve put together some specific points regarding our warranties below;

How long is my warranty?
The length of your warranty with any vehicle key purchase is located on your purchase receipt.

What does my warranty cover?
Your warranty will cover faults with your key that are beyond your control. Your warranty is limited to the key itself and does not extend to other parts of the vehicle.

What will void a warranty?
Although our warranties cover manufacturer defects, there a number of scenarios that will void your warranty;

Water Damage – Visible signs of water damage on any part of the key.

Scratch Damage – Damage to the casing or PCB (printed circuit board) of a key which has been caused by either a tool or fall damage.

Case Damage – Damage to the key casing as a result of wear and tear.

Battery Damage – Damage to PCB (printed circuit board) caused by incorrect battery installation.

What will I need to make a claim on my warranty?
You will need the original receipt supplied with the product when purchased. Without this, Duplicut Ltd are unable to prove the product has been supplied by us and therefore are unable to process a warranty claim without this. Your original receipt contains the date it was completed and other information which we need to process a warranty claim.

Where can I make a claim on my warranty?
Customers are only able to make a warranty claim at our main workshop at 39 Kings Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B73 5AB. Should the vehicle be needed to replace a key under warranty, the vehicle would need to be present at our workshop.

What will happen when I make a warranty claim?
Duplicut will first inspect the key to see  if the issue or fault meets our warranty criteria as stated above. If we detect an issue with the key that has not been caused by the user / through wear and tear, we will attempt to repair the key free of charge. If a repair is not possible, the key will be replaced in its’ entirety.

If a warranty claim is processed on a product that we no longer stock, the original amount will be discounted from the cost of an alternative product.
